Summer Brief 2013 - To Do List

My To-Do List for the upcoming academic year(s):

• I want to learn about 3D printing and have a go at it myself!

• I want to know how to print on different surfaces such as glass and wood, as I think it will definitely broaden my design possibilities and make my portfolio look really good.

• I want to learn how to code and create websites. I would also like to learn how to use Dreamweaver or its' equivalent.

• I want to know what is required of someone who wants to work for Disney as a graphic design Imagineer?!

• I want to complete loads of personal projects that will steer myself more towards what I want to do as a career in addition to my uni coursework. This can be simple drawings and sketches to entering competitions online.

• I want to know more about myself and enhance my own distinctive design style.

• I want to learn how to use Fontographer to create my own usable typefaces.

• Visit a type drawing workshop (such as Martina Flor's classes held in Barcelona/ Berlin).

• Learn about time management and keeping the workspace continually tidy.

• Learn how to create AR content to add another depth in my designs.

• Learn how to animate and what the best programs are to create animation for Flash sites.
